Transfers LISCAD Alignment points to a data recorder
Output Alignment Centre Line dialog box
Item | Used to | ||||||||||||||||
Installed Device: | Display the name of the device that has been selected for the output.
Alignment | |||||||||||||||||
name: | Select the alignment to be output
Chainage and Distance fields | Define the portion of the alignment to be output.
Key Points | Select that key points along the alignment are to be output.
Section Markers: | Select that points at section markers are to be output.
Offset Points This group is used to select the offset range to the alignment, within which any existing points are to be output. Enter the two offset values and select Upload to output these points. |
|||||||||||||||||
Upload | Toggle the option to output points that lie within the offset range.
Offset 1: | Enter an offset value. (-ve to the left of the alignment. +ve to the right of the alignment)
Offset 2: | Enter an offset value. (-ve to the left of the alignment. +ve to the right of the alignment)
Chainage Identifiers This group is used to define the point identifiers created in the output for the chainage interval points. |
|||||||||||||||||
Offset: | Enter a distance to be added to the chainage to define the point identifier.
Prefix: | Enter a prefix to be placed at the start of each chainage point identifiers.
Decimals: | Enter the number of decimals that are to be in the chainage point identifiers.
The following shows examples of the identifier that could
be created for chainage 123000.123.
|
|||||||||||||||||
Offsets | |||||||||||||||||
Numeric: | Key in a point identifier offset to be added to the numeric part
of the point identifiers that are being transferred. Use a negative number to have it subtracted. |
||||||||||||||||
East: | Key in a value to be added to the East co-ordinates of the points
that are transferred. Use a negative value to have it subtracted. |
||||||||||||||||
North: | Key in a value to be added to the North co-ordinates of the
points that are transferred. Use a negative value to have it subtracted. |
||||||||||||||||
Scale Factor | Enter a scale factor to be applied to the co-ordinates being
uploaded. (Only available when distances are set as ground distances
in the Utilities/Configure/Units
dialog) The uploaded co-ordinates will then be scaled by that value using an origin of zero East and North. Note that this can dramatically alter the co-ordinates. |
||||||||||||||||
Upload file as | Enter the name to be given to the uploaded file on the data
recorder. Only available for certain recorders. |
||||||||||||||||
Transfer Elevations | Specify whether elevations are to be uploaded.
Auto Numbering | If there are alpha numeric point identifiers selected
for transfer to the data recorder, and the data recorder does
not support alpha numeric point identifiers, select this check
box to have automatically generated point numbers transferred
to the data recorder instead of the point identifiers. It is best not to use alpha characters in the point identifiers if your data recorder does not support alpha, as auto generated numbers do not relate to the point identifiers thereby making it difficult to identify points in the data recorder. |
||||||||||||||||
Extended Format | Specify that the Leica/Wild format required is the extended 16 character format.
Close | Close the dialog box without transferring the data.
OK | Put the system in a ready state to send the data to
the data recorder. You should ensure that the data recorder has the correct communications set, is connected to the correct port, and in a ready state to receive the data. If the Port Communications setting for the data recorder is set to FILE, pressing the OK button will first display the Save As dialog used to name the file to be created. |
