Drape LineDrape Line

(This functionality is available with the Modelling module)

This command is used to modify lines or create new lines such that they are draped on the current model.

This allows any lines to be modified or copied such that the modified or copied lines becomes coincident with the model surface.

For example, a title boundary without any elevations could be draped on the model, edited to become a break line (and perhaps a new model boundary), and then new model(s) formed as desired.

Notes The draped lines include newly created points at all model triangle crosses coincident with the model elevations.
Pre-existing points in the draped lines have their elevations added or changed to be coincident with the model elevations.
Draping does not alter the triangulation in the model. To incorporate the new points and any draped break lines in the model, you will need reform the model. This will obviously alter the triangulation.
