.. Import Commands

(This functionality is available with the Input / Output module)

On selecting the Import menu from the Data Conversions task, the menu displays the Imports currently installed.

At the bottom of the menu there is an Add / Remove menu item to tailor the Import menu so that it only displays those Import functions you require.

There are two types of Import techniques, those that have been hardwired to perform a particular import task and those that are based upon XML and required a Style Sheet to interpret how the data should be imported. Both of these techniques can appear on the same menu.

For Help on the XML imports using Style Sheets go to the Add / Remove command and click on the Notes button to read any instructions the Style Sheet developer has written for the Style Sheet.
