Imports data from an IDEX file. Contact your Leica representative to obtain detailed specifications of this format.

Ensure that you use a symbol lookup table (.slu file) and a line style lookup table (.llu file) which match the IDEX symbol number to the required LISCAD symbol name, and the IDEX line style number to the required LISCAD lines style name.
The system will look at all available symbol and line style libraries in the root folder of the installation to try and find the required symbols and line styles.
If the IDEX file was created from LISCAD V4 or greater, the comment records at the end of the IDEX file contain the LISCAD symbol and Line style names matched to the numbers used in the IDEX file. These can be used to construct slu and llu files which should be used if the IDEX file is to be imported back into LISCAD.
