Edit Point Identifiers Along A Line

(This functionality is available with the Computations module)

Used to change the identifiers of individual points along a line.

The Edit/Point Identifiers/By Line command is selected from the Computations Task.

Item	Used to
Line Number	Select the line along which to reset the point identifiers.
New Point ID	Key in the new point identifier from which to start resetting the point identifiers along the line.
Reversed	Select this checkbox if you wish the renumbering to start from the end of the line and increment back towards the start. Note the line number is displayed at the start of a line.
OK	Change the point identifiers of the points along the selected line.
Close	Close the dialog box.

The point identifiers do not changed until the OK button is selected.

If a Point Identifier is already used in the data base, it will be skipped, and the next available identifier will be used.
