Edit Point Identifiers Along An Alignment

(This functionality is available with the Computations module)

Used to change the identifiers of points along an alignment.

The Edit/Point Identifiers/By Alignment command is selected from the Computations Task.

Item	Used to
Alignment	Select the alignment along which to reset the point identifiers.
New Point ID	Key in the new point identifier from which to start resetting the point identifiers along the alignment.
Reversed	Select this checkbox if you wish the renumbering to start from the end of greatest chainage, and increment against the direction of increasing chainage.
OK	Change the point identifiers of all the points in the alignment.
Close	Close the dialog box.

The point identifiers are not changed until the OK button is selected.

If a Point Identifier is already used in the data base, it will be skipped, and the next available identifier will be used.
