(This functionality is available with the Computations module
and the 3D Visualisation module)
Allows the elevation of an existing object to be changed to the current attribute setting.
The Edit/Elevation command is selected from the Computations Task or the 3D Visualisation module.
Use the Edit Elevations dialog box as follows.

Radio Buttons | |
All Points | Nominate that all points are available to have their elevations changed to a specified elevation. If this radio button is active, then any points in the data base may have their elevations edited, whether they currently have elevations or not. |
Elevation Points | Nominate that only points with elevations be available to have their elevations changed to
a specified elevation. If this radio button is active, then points without elevations will not have their elevations edited. |
Elev Diff | Nominate that only points with elevations be available to have their elevations changed by
an elevation difference. If this radio button is active, then points without elevations will not have their elevations edited. |
Remove Elev | Nominate that only points with elevations be available to have their elevation attributes
removed. If this radio button is active, then points without elevations will not have their elevations edited. |
Edit Fields | |
Elevation | Key in the elevation to which the relevant selected points are to be changed. This field will only be available if the All Points or Elevation Points radio button is active. |
Elev Diff | Key in the change in elevation to be applied to the relevant selected points. This field will only be available if the Elev Diff radio button is active. |
Point ID | Alternatively, snap to and accept an existing point to have its point identifier placed in
this field and have its elevation altered. Unless the Remove Elevations radio button is active,
the Elevation or Delta Z fields must first contain a value. For a point identifier range, key in the two identifiers separated by two dots. |
OK | Change the elevation of the selected points according to the dialog box settings. If Block is active, then only those relevant points selected in the Point ID. field and defined by the block will have their elevations edited. If Block is active and the Point ID. field is blank, then all the relevant points defined by the block will have their elevations edited. |
Close | Close the dialog box. |
