Examines the bearing, distance and if possible, the vertical angle between two existing points.

Ref. Pts | Key in two point identifiers separated by a double minus sign. Alternatively snap to and accept two points to have their identifiers placed in this field and the bearing and distance between them displayed. Or simply click in free space to choose that position on the screen. This only works if the Options Setting (in Configure) is ticked to "Allow Freehand Measurement" The vertical angle, elevation difference and slope distance between the points will also be displayed if both points have elevation attributes. An Accept on the screen will provide the co-ordinates of the current mouse position. |
Examine | Display the bearing and distance after the points have been keyed in to the reference line field. The vertical angle, elevation difference and slope distance between the points will also be displayed if both points have elevation attributes. |
Close | Close the dialog box. |
