Edit/Alignments/Chainage Equation

(This functionality is available with the Computations module)

Creates or edits chainage equations for an alignment object.

Item	Used to
Alignment	Select the required alignment.
Reference Point	Select the point from which the chainage equation will apply.
Chainage	Enter the required forward chainage for the reference point.
Apply	Apply the chainage equation entered to the alignment. The equation is then shown in the list.
Delete	Delete a chainage equation from the list. You must first select a chainage equation in the list before the delete button is available.

Each chainage equation is displayed showing its back chainage and forward chainage. The back chainage is the chainage of the point with respect to the previous chainage equation. The forward chainage is the chainage of the point with respect to points further along the alignment.
