Traverse File Editor: Report Layout

(This functionality is available with the Input / Output module)

Configures the layout for the report that is generated when the traverse is computed.

In the Traverse File Editor select the Compute/Traverse command. The Report Layout dialog is available by selecting the Report... button.

Item Used to
Format: Select the type of layout that is required. The available formats are Custom and type 1.
Custom is a user definable format that allows any of the options to be added or removed from the report.
The type 1 format is a fixed report layout. This format also allows additional text to be added automatically to the beginning of the report. The additional text is entered in a file called type1.TXT that is created by the user and stored in the User folder.
Rounding
Distance: Select the rounding for all distances that are output to the report.
Three types of distance rounding (1, 2, and 3) are definable using the Utilities/Configure/Distances command. A setting of zero means that rounding will not be applied.
Bearing: Select the angle rounding for all bearings that are output to the report.
Three types of angle rounding (1, 2, and 3) are definable using the Utilities/Configure/Angles command. A setting of zero means that rounding will not be applied.
Sections
Header Output header information with the report.
Horizontal
Original Output the original observations of the traverse to the report.
Observations Output the original observations and the adjusted co-ordinates after an adjustment has been completed to the report
Computed Output the adjusted observations and co-ordinates to the report
Misclosure Output the horizontal misclosure to the report.
Area Output the area of a closed traverse to the report.
Elevations
Original Output the original elevations of the traverse to the report.
Computed Output the adjusted and fixed elevations to the report
Misclosure Output the vertical misclosure to the report.
OK Compute the traverse and generate a report.
Cancel Close the dialog without computing the traverse.
