A CAD Output parameter file stores the CAD Output settings used by the system to create a CAD file.

Multiple CAD Output parameter files can be created, and the appropriate one selected when creating a particular CAD file, to suit the requirements of a particular type of work or a particular client's needs.
If the CAD Output parameter file (.CPF) is "Read Only", changes to the settings commands cannot be saved. However, changes made in the CAD Output/Output dialog and dialogs opened via that dialog will be held in memory and used in the CAD file creation until that dialog is closed, whereupon all settings revert to those stored in the .CPF file.
